Dreaming of Taking a Test
🌙 Does this dream sound familiar?
You're back in school for an exam; the page is blank, or time runs out before you start.
🏮 The folk interpretation
Folk belief: dreaming of a test warns of a coming judgment or challenge. A blank page means unpreparedness; running out of time signals missed chances. Passing brings luck, failing warns of gossip.
🧠 The psychological view (Jung)
Jung saw exams as the psyche's mirror of self-worth and fear of judgment. It reflects present anxiety about being evaluated, not a premonition. The blank page shows feeling unprepared in waking life.
"In all chaos there is a cosmos, in all disorder a secret order."
— C.G. Jung, Psychology and Alchemy
