Dreaming of Moving House
🌙 Does this dream sound familiar?
You pack everything into boxes and settle into a place you've never seen.
🏮 The folk interpretation
Folk belief: moving house in a dream signals a major life shift, often positive. Packing boxes foretells clearing old debts; a new, unseen home hints at unexpected luck. If the move felt sad, change may bring loss.
🧠 The psychological view (Jung)
Jung saw the house as the self. Packing and moving to an unknown place mirrors a present inner transition—you're leaving an old identity or emotional state, unsure of what's next. Not a premonition, just your psyche processing change.
"The true tarot is symbolism; it speaks no other language."
— A.E. Waite, The Pictorial Key to the Tarot, 1911
