Dreaming of Being Fired
🌙 Does this dream sound familiar?
Your boss calls you in, or you find your badge deactivated and your desk cleared.
🏮 The folk interpretation
Folk belief: being fired in a dream often signals a sudden change in fortune, not necessarily bad. If you feel relieved, it's a positive omen; if you cry, expect minor setbacks. Seeing a specific boss or co-worker can point to real-life tensions.
🧠 The psychological view (Jung)
Jungian view: this dream mirrors feelings of insecurity, guilt, or fear of failure in your waking life. It's not a premonition but a reflection of current anxieties about performance, belonging, or loss of control.
"The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely."
— C.G. Jung, Psychological Reflections
