Dreaming of a Storm
🌙 Does this dream sound familiar?
Thunder cracks, the sky turns green-black, and the storm rolls straight at you.
🏮 The folk interpretation
Folk belief: a storm in dreams warns of coming conflict or upheaval. Green-black sky signals jealousy or hidden danger; thunder means shocking news. If you shelter safely, trouble passes; if you're struck, misfortune looms.
🧠 The psychological view (Jung)
Jung saw the storm as the unconscious erupting—repressed emotions, anger, or fear demanding attention. It mirrors your present inner turmoil, not a future event. The green-black sky reflects envy or dread you're avoiding.
"The true tarot is symbolism; it speaks no other language."
— A.E. Waite, The Pictorial Key to the Tarot, 1911
