Dreaming of Ghosts
🌙 Does this dream sound familiar?
An unseen presence moves through the house, or a pale figure watches from the hallway.
🏮 The folk interpretation
Folk belief: ghosts in dreams warn of unfinished business or a message from the beyond. A pale figure in the hallway often means a secret is about to surface. White ghosts bring peace; dark ones, trouble.
🧠 The psychological view (Jung)
Jung saw ghosts as shadow figures or unintegrated parts of the self. This dream mirrors current feelings of being haunted by the past, unresolved guilt, or ignored emotions—not a premonition.
"The tarot is a mirror of the soul — the cards show what the inner eye already knows."
— A.E. Waite, The Pictorial Key to the Tarot (序論の趣旨を要約した公版解説)
